The MyCorbu project is coming along - slowly - but there has been a bit of progress since my last update two months ago. First, as you can see, MyCorbu has its own website now. Click the image above to go there and check it out. The new site has a blog to chronicle developments. Think about subscribing to the MyCorbu blog to stay informed. This new blog is your opportunity for a little entertainment as I stumble through the app development. I have USED bookkeeping software a lot. What could possibly go wrong as I develop my own system? Without any experience? Besides entertainment, why sign up? Well, you have an opportunity to:
Updates about MyCorbu will be pretty infrequent from now on here on Architekwiki. However, I have added a convenient link right here on Architekwiki to take you to MyCorbu whenever you want to check it out. The BIG NEWS is the app, though. In two months time, I have made some decent progress with turning my ideas about how it should work into reality - the timekeeping portion, at least. I have three pages complete. A Timesheet page where each user will log their own time. A Project Time page where all time is collected and can be filtered in numerous ways for payroll, for invoicing, for evaluating progress. A Projects page where projects and phases are managed. Yet to be done is an Administration page. If this sounds interesting, you can actually take the app for a test drive. I have embedded a copy of the app on the website. You can enter data into the app and see what you think. I will swap this out for a later version shortly when I get some loose ends fixed. Check out the post that announced the embedded app. I have settled on a pricing structure as you can see here. Until the app is launched, I am offering a discount if you reserve an account ahead of time. This is not a commitment for you to sign up eventually. It is a commitment for me to give you a discount if you do sign up. Click the image, add your email to my list, and I will contact you when we launch to see what you want to do. I can't stress enough that Knack makes it all possible, perhaps you have an app in you! SUBSCRIBE to the MyCorbu mailing list
